Archive for April, 2017

Saturday, April 22, Earth Day (how appropriate) Elaine Persons, Sara Oseasohn, Holly Berube, Gail Halloran, and Dot Sieradzki cleaned out the foundation plantings around the lower level of Manchester Town Hall, and along the front ramp. Many hands made the work go fast. We were able to finish before the rain moved in. An assessment of the current plantings shows a need to thin out some areas, add 4 flowering azaleas, and new ground cover. The plan is to return May 13 to plant and add mulch, which town administrator Greg Federspiel will contribute. If you can join us on May 13, contact Elaine at dancerecp1@yahoo.com.
